Bamboo comes from Asia. It is a very strong wood due in part to the environmental extremes to which it is grown and harvested. The climate makes a difference in the product or crop immeasurably. Bamboo due to many folks misunderstanding does not come from trees as the timber industry does. Bamboo is part of the grass family. It takes about three to five years for a crop to produce and come to harvest.

However, we learned when installing wood flooring that you could use certain tools to speed up the process. You could use glue and glue the bamboo wood at the tongue and grove areas. You cold use a nail gun or a glue gun. Or finally you could install it as a “floating floor” install.
